HIKING TRAILS includes any paved, or natural surface trail of most any length on which you can walk, run, jog, wander, etc. Both walking and running events may be staged in these locations. For the most part these trails are not actively used roads, except where road walks are part of a longer, continual established trails. (However, foot races may be staged on roads and will be covered here as news items.)
