Gun Lake is a 219-acre lake located between Fountain and Freesoil. Most of the shoreline is built up with private homes and cottages, but there is public access and a park on the south shore. Extensive work has been done at the park in 2011 and the area is much more inviting with a pavilion and new latrines.
