Hackert Lake

Hackert Lake

This small natural inland lake (125 acres) was formerly known as Crystal Lake. It is a popular site with local folks in summer. There is one public access with a swimming beach, boat launch, parking loop and accessible latrine. A commercial campground is nearby.

Boat Launch- cement boat ramp with dock, plenty of parking for trailers

Fishing- black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, muskellunge, northern pike, rock bass, sunfish, yellow perch (list from lake-link.com)

Swimming- The swimming area is nice as sand has been brought in to make the area more pleasant than the mud one usually encounters at small lakes. There is a grassy lawn surrounding the beach area. No picnic tables, but the grass is kept mowed and you can always bring a blanket.
