at Loomis Street Boat Ramp 
Loomis Street Boat Ramp This city boat launch is primarily for large boats that wish to access Lake Michigan. There is a fee to launch here in summer. It also provides access to the Ludington Waterfront Walkway and a picnic area. Boat Launch- 4 paved ramps with docks, mostly used by large boats, parking for many vehicles with trailers, attendant at booth collects fee of $7/day, $23 annual resident, $45 annual non-resident- good at Copeyon Park and Loomis Street ramps Fishing- Lake Michigan and channel fishing from the seawall, boat access to Lake Michigan and Pere Marquette Lake, fish-cleaning station Ludington Waterfront Walkway, Beach Loop and Waterfront Loop pass through this area Picnicking- Playground- Stearns Park playground is directly north, Waterfront Park large playground is a short walk east Scenic Views- classic Lake Michigan lighthouse. Watch the carferry and other boats enter and leave via the channel. Handicap Accessibility- restroom IS NOT accessible
Rest Rooms- Full rest rooms in summer
Access- west end of paved Loomis Street one block south of Ludington Ave. No fee to park (fee is only for boat launch)

Turn south and go one block to Loomis Street, turn left into the parking area. Attendant at booth in summer, parking is free, fee is only for boat launch.
