Summit Township Park
This small park is a great place to have a picnic, and swim in Lake Michigan.
There are picnic tables and grills, a sandy beach, playground, and other facilities. It's biggest fault is that it is a steep climb to and from the beach.

Picnicking- day use area with picnic tables and grills, pavilion can be reserved
Playgrounds 
Playground- Grassy field and tennis courts. Playground with swings, toddler swings, large pirate-theme modular playground, climbers, spring ride-ons.
Swimming 
Swimming- Lake Michigan beach
Handicap Accessibility
Handicap Accessibility- Rest rooms and changing rooms are accessible. Bars in large stall. Sink not handicap designed.
Picnic tables must be accessed across grass.

Rest Rooms- Full rest rooms in summer only

Access- Paved parking at the end of Summit Lake Rd.
Restrictions- Park closes at dusk or 10 pm and gated.
Grades- steep climb to and from the beach with 30 irregular steps and sandy hill. Picnic tables are near the level of the parking.
Ecosystem- Lake Michigan beach dune with grassy area at top, wooded edge
