General Information
Oxbow Park 
Oxbow Park is a fairly new park built in cooperation with the Boy Scouts. The Scouts have a lodge on site, in addition to the public facilities listed.
Picnicking
Picnicking- The pavilion is full of picnic tables.
Hiking
Hiking- 
There is a paved/plank trail of about 1/4 mile with an observation platform along the river.
Paddling
Paddling- There are two carry-down access points, a primary one on the west side of the oxbow, and a small one near the Scout lodge. This would make a nice very short tube float for small children without moving any vehicles- just float around the oxbow.
Fishing
Fishing- Access to the river, and it may be possible to fish from the platform at the end of the trail.

Rest Rooms- new latrines
Potable Water- none
Handicap Accessibility
Handicap Accessibility- The pavilion and latrines are accessible. The trail is paved or boardwalk and accessible all the way to the observation platform.
Details
Access- Road through residential area off M-20, marked with a small green sign. Parking at the end of the road.
Restrictions- No camping, no open fires, no overnight parking. Park is open 6am- 11pm.
Seasonality- Open year round
Ecosystem- some maintained lawn surrounded by forest in a loop of the White River
Other points of interest- Vida Weaver Park is at the west edge of Hesperia, and Hesperia Dam and Sports Park on the north edge with Webster Park in the center of town.
